Dream-pop artist and producer Monad has released his new single, ‘I See You’. Topped by the beautiful vocal of London-based singer Ariel Pedatzur, the track brings together shoegazey guitar tones, hypnotic echoes and a base of pulsating electronics. It’s an immersive cut that captures a sense of complex, psychedelic tension. “I wanted to explore that very limited time when you know you’re about to lose something but you’re still barely holding onto it," Nachmany explains. "The song was written directly after my partner was diagnosed with cancer, and right before she started her treatment. It was a period where we both had strange, recurring dreams of drowning and being out in the ocean. It was a rough time of coming to terms with the loss of the life we knew before and accepting that a different, scary and unexpected part of it was starting.” Keep an eye out for more music and live performance from Monad across 2025. -Dan Peeke
